Mental Math & Abacus
The curriculum of abacus classes typically starts with basic number recognition and understanding of the abacus beads and their values. Students are introduced to the concept of place value and learn how to represent numbers using the abacus. As they progress, they learn addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using the abacus.
